Earthworkers Hort 101
24-28th March 2025 Kirikiriroa/Hamilton
Join us for a transformative 5-day course hosted across three biology-first regenerative farms in the Waikato, managed by Earthworker Alumni.
Earthworkers provides a comprehensive educational pathway that empowers growers to master soil health principles by achieving a harmonious balance between minerals and microbes.
Guided by the latest soil science that aligns with and takes its cue from nature, this course is designed to support professional growers, passionate home gardeners, urban farmers and environmental advocates who are interested in the power of biology to cultivate resilience both economically and ecologically.
This course comes with post course online mentoring within a peer-to-peer network to connect you to an optimistic and likeminded community of growers.

OMG
Organic Market Garden
OMG was initiated and run by For The Love Of Bees from 2018-2024, located at 257 Symonds Street in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland.
It functioned as a model biology-first regenerative urban farm designed to inspire and educated the next generation of urban farmers to use food production to heal the landscapes where we live and work.
It has now been integrated into a larger project run and managed by the FTLOB original head farmer and Earthworker Alumni.

Fieldays TV
In 2021 the team from Fieldays TV created this short documentary about our model urban farm OMG (Organic Market Garden).

We believe that people have the power to address some of the most pressing challenges we face.
The threat of climate change, food security, health inequity, and ecosystem damage can be tackled with biology-first regenerative horticultural practices that are better for our pollinators, people and planet.
